Why did my payment fail?

There are a variety of reasons that a payment fails, but they primarily fall into two categories:

  • Declined payments

  • Blocked payments

When a payment is declined by the credit card company, the payment system provides you with detailed information on why the charge was declined. (you can add a screenshot) 


For blocked payments, the payment system blocks any payment identified as high-risk by using the integrated automated fraud prevention toolset. This tool helps the platform protect users from fraud by algorithms blocking payments if the CVC or postal code doesn't match the information on file with the customer's card issuer.
